Made a trip down to the immigration office last week to renew my visa. I'd almost forgotten my 6 months were up. (I gotta renew for another 6) Getting thrown out of J woulda been bad. Like, serious. The process was surprisingly easy and painless. Just some paperwork and a short wait to talk to a tellar guy. I now have to wait for a letter of approval to arrive and then I gotta go pick up the sticker that goes into my passport. Yay. I also inquired about staying longer and since my parents had enough foresight to register me in Tokyo after I was born, it looks as though all it takes is more paperwork at the end of the year. Double yay. It was a load off, believe me. The possibility of going back after just a year was eating away at me somethin' fierce. Well, I'll see how I feel after the impending summer heat :O
Yesterday was Mother's Day. I sent flowers. Did you send flowers? Call? Forget?? Jackass!!! (in that order)
I forgot to mention I saw Spider-man 3, like, 2 weeks ago. Opening day, man. Uhh... I'm sure you've either seen or heard rumours about it already so there really is no point in writing about it anymore. Actually, by choosing silence, it pretty much sums up my reaction to the movie.
Okay, and the following groan of disappointment...
I've been getting numerous e-mails asking what the fork is going on with BFX. It ain't dead. It's just on break. Hiatus. Pause. Whatever. I feel bad but not that bad since I'm kickin' it in Japan. Mwahaha. No, seriously, though. I'll get back to it once I gain a bit more ground with publishing here. Multi-tasking is something I have yet to comprehend so it's one thing at a time. The only MTing I do is reading while on the can and it's comparatively easier than writing, drawing and toning comic pages. Anyway, just to prove I am still somewhat eager to get back to it:
TAK
