Hard at work as usual. I haven't really seen any friends or done anything fun lately other than watch The Prince of Tennis anime. It's appropriately rediculous and far-fetched but it's got solid characters and an interesting lead character. He's an asshole, btw. I likey. I never got into the comic but the animated version is like an audio book since I don't watch it but just listen to it. Yes, I'm that busy! I can't even turn my head 90 degrees. It's been nuts.

One of the 4 local supermarkets close to me renovated their entire store this month so it's been fun to check out their new shelves and larger stock of products. They expanded their liquor section and made the entire atmosphere brighter and more inviting. I approve. As I said, this is my entertainment right now...

Think I'm gonna buy a new tv. I've been using an old boxy one my cousin gave me and it works fine but I'd like better picture quality and wouldn't mind saving some room by replacing it with a flat screen. I'm well aware that this could lead to very bad things like cable tv and video games. I will do my best to resist.

I haven't really been reading comics lately. It's wierd. I'm in the land of comics yet it's abundance makes me seek it less. Well, I check out Gantz and the odd issue JUMP at 7-11 on occasion but that's about it. I've even stopped reading Blade of the Immortal and choose to buy the collected volumes. Oh, I check out used bookstores sometimes and flip through random comics there so I guess that's somewhat passable. What's wrong with me?

I've finally accepted the fact that I can't spell any more. All I see is Japanese all day and when I hang out with English speaking friends, speak is all I do and I rarely write anything. Dumber with age is not a joke folks.

I think I'm sick. I had a cough this morning and it went away but I feel a bit light-headed and low in energy. Been drinking energy drinks and taking contac so I should be okay for the time being. No fever so at least I can still work. Speaking of work, I figured out my schedule till the end of the year and it's a doozy. It's the first time I've ever had to put a work schedule together actually. I need to work like a mothah everyday if I wanna make deadlines. It's kinda nice. I can't announce anything right now but when I'm able to I'll give you guys a shout. It's pretty cool stuff.

Okay, so it's been close to a month. Yeah, yeah. Gimme a break. Been drinking way too much coffee recently in order to keep myself awake through the night. I've been working on some Marvel stuff as well as non-comic related material which is kinda nice for a change. I didn't do anything for Halloween nor have I really done anything besides work and entertain my parents for the last 2 weeks. Kinda shitty! Had some awesome sushi tonight, though.

Some random events as of late:

I was at a ramen shop the other day and when I went to pay the tab I pulled out a 1000 yen note and it ripped clean in half. The cashier chick and I just stood there staring at it for a full 2-3 seconds. It was oddly funny.

My cell phone battery is possessed. After sending a few texts it dies. Black screen and everything. Then it will suddenly turn back on again at full power a few minutes later. It does this a few times and then finally fizzles out. It hates me.

Both mom and dad have taken turns crashing at my place. They both snore which bothers me but when they don't I'm worried they might have croaked up in my loft. It worries me.

I used to religiously watch streaming episodes of Ebert & Roeper's reviews on their site. Recently, I've been shutdown due to being "out of region" or some shit. It makes me sad and I have no idea what's up with movies now.

This season of Survivor really blows. I hate all the people on that show. They all annoy me. This makes me happy.
